Student Leadership Update

Student Leadership applications for 2026 are now open. 

We started our Student Leadership Program back in 2023, after identifying a group of unofficial student leaders who were already serving our school community. We had a group of students who were leading our Minecraft Club and we had individuals who were quick to support initiatives like ACC Connect, Student Blogs, Lunch Club and other online opportunities for students to connect. 

This year we have seen some new initiatives by our student leaders, as well as their support and feedback in the initiatives of staff in positively building our school community. These are some examples of just some of the areas our student leaders have served and led in this year:

• Planning and hosting JOLT (Lunchtime Bible study) 

• Planning and being involved in our “All-in” DE Assemblies

• Organising a Pet Photography Competition

• Posting Announcements in our PC Courses (Wacky Wednesday, Thankful Thursday & Fun Friday Announcements)

• Messaging new students to welcome them to ACC (Peer Support)
