Elite Pursuits Program (EPP) Spotlight

As we head into the Term 3 break, we have a number of our Elite Pursuits Students heading into various competitions at state, national and international levels, across a number of different sports. We are so proud of all of you in your endeavours and wish you the very best in your upcoming competitions. 


Congratulations to Melina Dimitriadou-Pierce (Year 9), who has qualified for the Oceanman World Final Championships, competing in the Open 2km Sprint event. 


Location: Miches, Dominican Republic

Dates: November 9th – 15th, 2026

Participants: Over 4,500 swimmers from more than 100 nations

Setting: The Caribbean Sea


Melina is in the running to be the Australian ambassador in this World event, who will also be the flag bearer at the Opening Ceremony. You can vote for her via this link (you can cast a vote every 24 hours):


The picture below is from her most recent win at the Schinias Beach 2.5km sprint on 13th September. 



Additionally, a huge congratulations to Sehun Park (Year 11), on winning the J60 Adelaide Tennis Tournament. Sehun has been traveling across the globe, including Europe and Asia, representing Australia and we are very proud of his efforts! Well done Sehun!
