Well, here we are at the end of another very busy term.  Well done to all our students and supervisors who have not just survived but thrived! To all our new families, we know the beginning can be daunting, but things will become easier.

Please remember that next term, teachers will be preparing final reports. Due to tight timelines, we are unable to grant extensions for assessments. We will publish Term 4 courses at the beginning of the second week of the holidays, if they are ready to be released.

Please note that Protective Behaviours is a compulsory course and must be completed in Term 4 if it has not already been done. This course is an important part of the curriculum and will contribute to the final Health grade. Mrs Jessica Sinclair oversees this course, and she will mark work and provide feedback this term.

We've noticed an increase in students attempting to use AI to complete parts of their assessments or final submissions. While learning to use AI appropriately is a valuable skill for the future, the learning process is crucial for students' developing brains right now. We ask that families partner with us to ensure students are getting the best learning experience.

If we believe AI has been used in an assessment, teachers may contact families to discuss the process. We encourage you to speak with your child about the importance of participating fully and honestly in their learning programs to avoid this becoming a habit.

We were pleased to see many of our students and families at the Athletics Carnival in Perth. Thank you for your patience and understanding if you experienced delays when you attempted to contact staff while they were travelling. Good sportsmanship and a positive experience are the aims of the day - we hope everyone enjoyed it as much as we did.

We hope you enjoy the upcoming holidays and look forward to working with you again next term.
