Dear Secondary Students, Parents, Caregivers, and Families,

As we reach the close of the school year, I want to take a moment to reflect on an extraordinary year. It has been a privilege to complete my first year as Head of Secondary at the college.

Gratitude for Our Community

To Our Dedicated Staff: I want to express my deepest thanks and admiration for the hard work and dedication of all our teaching and support staff. Every staff member, from our educators to administrators, has worked tirelessly and with genuine care to journey alongside our students. Your commitment to serving, educating, nurturing, and developing each young person is what makes our school community unique.

To Our Parents, Caregivers, and Families: Thank you for your invaluable partnership. I am deeply grateful for the trust you have shown in entrusting your child to us. Your active support in various school events, carnivals, and initiatives, including the tireless service of those who have served on the P&F Committee, has been vital. The community spirit you bring is evident in everything we achieve.

Recognising and Celebrating Our Students

The greatest privilege for me this year has been witnessing the remarkable growth of all our students. We have seen growth not just academically, but physically, socially, and spiritually. We have celebrated milestones, watched records broken, and seen students live out the values of compassion and courage.

We were pleased to conclude the year's official events with our End of Year Presentation Ceremony last Friday. Congratulations once again to all the students celebrated for their academic, sporting, and community achievements. The afternoon was a wonderful affirmation of the hard work and dedication shown across all year levels.

Your resilience, enthusiasm, and willingness to embrace challenges have been commendable. As you transition into the holiday period, do remember to celebrate your personal achievements from 2025.

Looking Ahead

As we turn our attention toward the year ahead, and prepare for 2026, I am keen to continue making significant inroads into how we can better serve, educate, nurture, and develop our students.

We look forward to building on the successes of this year, strengthening our programs, and creating new opportunities for every student to find their purpose and reach their full potential.

As the final school days coincide with the advent of Christmas, we are reminded that Jesus is the reason for the season. The message of Christ brings a constant sense of renewal and purpose that anchors our entire community as we pause, celebrate the year, and look forward.

Thank you once again for an outstanding year. I wish all our families a blessed Christmas break, a restful holiday, and a joyful preparation for the new year.
