Secondary News
As we reach the conclusion of a busy and productive Term 3, it is wonderful to reflect on the many highlights we have shared. Book Week was recognised with a guest speaker who described the process of writing and publishing, taking many thoughtful questions from students who engaged in the teleconference with her. Many students submitted photos of themselves for the virtual book parade.

A fitting culmination to the term was our Athletics Carnival. I want to extend a sincere thank you to all the families who made the effort to attend. It is always a highlight of the calendar year to get together, and it was great to witness not only the competition on the track and field, but also the genuine fun, camaraderie, and school spirit that our students displayed throughout the day.
As we look ahead to Term 4, we recognise that it will be a short but critical sprint to the end of the academic year. For our graduating cohort, it will mark their final weeks of secondary schooling before embarking on their final exams and next chapters. For all other year levels, it is a time to consolidate their learning and set clear goals for a successful finish. I encourage all students to reflect on the feedback they have received this term and use it to guide their efforts when we return to learning.
However, before we turn our attention to the final term, it is vital to pause and recharge. I trust that all students and their families are able to make the most of this well-deserved reprieve from lessons and learning routines. Please take this opportunity to enjoy investing time in recreation, rest, and meaningful connection with the people you enjoy most. I wish you all a safe, relaxing, and wonderful term break, and I look forward to welcoming our students back refreshed and ready for Term 4.
