WASO Concert & Rehearsal

Dear Parents,

The West Australian Symphony Orchestra are very excited to be touring to Albany in November for WASO Perform the Greats, with Principal Conductor Asher Fisch and soloist Emily Sun.

In addition to an evening concert on Friday 10 November and afternoon concert on Saturday 11 November, WASO are opening the doors, inviting Year 6-8 students to join the orchestra at rehearsal. This Open Rehearsal experience is free and gives students an opportunity to watch the conductor work with the full orchestra to put the finishing touches on a concert.

This is a ‘working rehearsal’, so while this event is not a formal concert – audience members are asked to treat the event like a concert (remain quiet with phones switched to silent).
